Everyone has an opinion about Jesus! Jesus once asked His friends, “Who do you believe I am?” It’s a great question. How would you answer? There are a lot of opinions, but one thing most can agree on is that Jesus changes things.
We believe that Jesus wants to change you! He already knows your past, but Jesus is more concerned about your future. We believe that God loves you so much that no matter how far away from God you have drifted, he has paved a way home.
Jesus explained, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well.” John 14:6-7
The only way back to God is through trusting Jesus and allowing him to take the lead. Jesus' message is inclusive. No matter who you are, what you’ve
done, or your social status Jesus loves you and desires to lead you home. All are invited. The decision to trust is on you. So, who do you believe Jesus is?
Are you ready to become a follower of Jesus?
From the cross to the empty tomb, Jesus lived a perfect life and choose to die so that we may live.
As we believe and make the decision to become a follower of Jesus, the next step is to be baptized.
Don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Romans 6:3-4
Baptism symbolizes a death that is taking place. It symbolizes our decision to bury our old life and embrace a new life and new eternity with Jesus as Lord. We believe and confess that Jesus is our Lord. We commit to changing the focus of our life from living for self to living for Jesus. We are baptized to symbolize the death that is taking place and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit to guide, comfort, and transform us as we grow in our faith and wait for His return.
