“Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me.” – Mark 9:37
There is a growing need for families willing to open their hearts and homes to children and teenagers who have been removed from their families because of neglect or abuse.
These children need a loving family who will walk with them during a time of crisis and welcome them unconditionally into a caring home. Children in foster care range in age from infants to teenagers and typically remain in your care for at least a few months. The highest-priority need is for foster homes for sibling groups and children from minority groups (Information from Bethany Christian Services).

Foster Care through DCS (Indiana)
Bethany is an avenue that provides an additional layer of support through the process, but you can certainly go straight through DCS as well. The biggest benefit of this is local training. Contact Michelle Smith with DCS, the regional supervisor at 812-438-2530 x11878 or go online to http://in.gov/dcs/fostercare.htm.
