August 2019 - Cookson Hills Home (Oklahoma)
All funds collected for The Generosity Project in August will go toward helping the efforts to restore the work of the equine program for Cookson Hills Home.
"Last year, we chose to pause and evaluate our equine programs here at Cookson Hills. Well, we are ready to get this program back up and running again and we need you to help us do this! The level of depth, introspection, and healing that the equine program brings to our kids is truly remarkable. Studies have shown that equine-assisted activities help kids develop physical strength, self-awareness, trust, confidence, verbal and nonverbal communication skills, and tools for working through anxiety."
In order for us to restart and run this program, we need $40,000. This will help us cover horse care, equipment, upkeep of the facilities, and a new staff member who will bring this program back to life!
Together, we can guide these kids to become healthy individuals who are empowered to positively impact future generations. Would you join me in giving a gift through the Generosity Project o help restart our equine program as a tool in Cookson Hills’ mission to help troubled teens?

Thank you for your generosity in July which provided $4800 to help the family of a Bright Elementary student, nine-year-old Isaac Clark, with medical expenses related to his Duchenne (due-shen) Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a terminal disease.
